As you know, we place great importance on effective communication with parents and carers.  We want to ensure that you are kept fully informed about what is happening in school, are aware of any changes to school policies or procedures, and do not miss any important dates or events in your child’s school life.  Details of the three Apps we use in school are detailed below: 

'Arbor’ is our main communication tool.  Arbor is also used to make all payments (school meals, educational visits, music tuition, wraparound, etc), book your child into the Wraparound provision and book parents’ evening appointments.

To use Arbor:

1. Download the free Arbor Parent App, through either Play Store / App Store.

'Class Dojo' 

Class Dojo will only be used for classroom purposes and for sharing classroom celebrations.  Any queries which are not related to the classroom should be directed to the school office by email to enquiries@smawthorneprimary.org or, for urgent enquiries, please telephone the school office on 01977 558395 (8.00am to 4.00pm).

An invitation to join Class Dojo will be sent out by the class teacher once your child is enrolled in the school.  

As a reminder, the school website will continue to serve as the central hub for information such as policies, curriculum details and general information.  Facebook and X will also be used to celebrate school life, events and achievements.
